Deadlinesdeadlinesdeadlinesdeadlinesdeadlinesarrrrrrrghzonk

Guess what?

You are on DEADLINE!

That means we are going to power through Wednesday. POWER THROUGH IT!

That means if you have only one source, you need to ferret out more. Like, immediately.

That means you need to type up all your hand-written notes and make them into articles and get them to me so I can make heartless and cruel and mean edits and make you rewrite a bunch of stuff and do that a few times in a row.

That means...you have to write.

Yes. You are writers.

And reporters. And FEATURE WRITERS, most importantly!

That means you must write quickly and accurately and follow AP Style as best you can and follow journalistic principals.

But that also means you must write. Take a deep breath and write - with style, with creativity, using all of those details your writers' minds soaked up during interviews, sharing the distinct voice that sets your writing apart.

Oh, and if you have a minute, post to the blog...telling me what you think about writing on deadline. And everything I just said.

Go.
