"I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps"

Hey y'all! Can you believe tomorrow's the last day of camp? It's so sad. I have had so much fun this week. I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite posts because I can talk about what I love, fashion

If I could inter view anyone in the world, it would be Anna Wintour. Don't know who she is (really?)? She is one of the most powerful people in the world. She is at the very top of the fashion industry as the editor-in-chief of American Vogue. I have wanted to work in the fashion industry most of my life, and she has just been my inspiration to make it in the industry.
I really don't know what I would ask her if I got to meet her! i would be so starstruck. She seems like such an amazing person, being able to do so much. She not only runs Vogue, but she plans some of the biggest events in the world, such as Fashion's Night Out and the Met Gala every year. I watched a documentary about Vogue about a year ago called the September Issue which was about the Vogue team putting together the September 2007 issue of Vogue. The September Issue is the biggest, most important issue of the year, and a lot goes into putting it together. The movie gave me an insight to what the industry is really like.

If I could work as a journalist anywhere in the world, it would be New York, New York, the fashion capital of the world. It might look like a dirty place to some people, but I think it's magical. Everything about it is beautiful to me. I want to be a fashion editor, putting together outfits for the photo shoots in the issue, or write about fashion trends and designers. I would love to be a free-lance writer if I'm not a fashion writer, like Carrie Bradshaw. I love this quote she said in SATC: "When I first moved to New York and I was totally broke, sometimes I would buy Vogue instead of dinner. I felt it fed me more."

That's pretty much my dream. It's all planned out in my head, but it's kind of hard to type all of it out onto this blog! Well I'll see everyone at the picnic tonight! It's seems like fun.
