My name is Charlotte :). Basically I'm just a typical high school senior waiting to get out of my house and have four amazing years of college. I hope to go to Georgia College and State, Valdosta, or maybe even UGA ;) Other than writing, my hobbies are hanging out with friends, reading (everything!), listening to music (all kinds), and I love to play the piano and take pictures. I also love swimming and just being outside in general, even though I prefer cold weather any day. I have an obsession with the Harry Potter book series (Can't wait to start the article about it with Jordan!), Vampire Diaries, Friends, and That 70's Show. My favorite food is just a typical American meal-- Cheeseburger and fries ;).
I have been looking forward to coming here ever since Torrie and I first heard about it in our journalism class together. We will both be the feature editors of our news magazine at Chattahoochee next year, so I am excited to learn more about feature writing and leading a news staff. So far the camp has been awesome and everybody has been really nice! I'm hoping that by the end of this week I will feel like a better writer and ready to continue with journalism as a possible career path. I've loved meeting all the people that I have so far and I hope to meet everybody else by the end of the week :D
Don't make fun of me if I fall on my face when we go skating please :)
Yay! You will be a skating superstar, I am sure of it! Just so you know, some people have come to this camp and ended up going to school at UGA and loving it!
