IF I COULD INTERVIEW ANYBODY

If i could interview anyone in the world it would most likely be Adolf Hitler. I like to get a good look into the minds of extremely genius psychopaths, whether they be delusional or not i'm sure he'd have some interesting things to say. I'd most likely ask him about his relationship with his parents and his dietary habits. I would like to know how the transgression of events in his rise to power felt to him and how the elation affected his ego. I would ask whether he had studied social science and public relation or whether he achieved his understanding of the german mentality through observation and personal experience. Most of all i would make sure to enter the interview washed of all personal bias, completely ignorant of any travesties committed during the nazi regime and ready to humor the ramblings of one of the worlds most intelligent and charismatic madmen. This would be because any sign of my own opposition would curve his approach in the interview and most likely result in answers leaning further towards propaganda than truth. Now that i really think about it, i would probably impersonate a nazi to make him feel a bit more comfortable and open up truthfully about his political strategy, particularly regarding the racial science he preached to the nazi youth.

Really an interview with someone like Adolf Hitler would define exactly what i want to do with my journalistic career, which is engulf myself entirely in a story regardless of the potential consequence and analyze the force that moves that which we understand as despicable and disgusting.
